This vibrant tradition features dhol drummers, bhangra dancing, and pure joy as the groom arrives with his family and friends. The Baraat will start down the street and make its way to the bride's parents' home for the ceremony. Expect high energy, infectious music, and lots of dancing. We encourage everyone to join in the festivities. This is one of the most fun and unforgettable parts of an Indian wedding! Anand Karaj – Following the Baraat Our wedding ceremony will be an Anand Karaj, a traditional Sikh wedding. "Anand Karaj" translates to "Blissful Union". What to Know: Head coverings are required for all guests. We will provide coverings for men. Women are welcome to bring their own scarf or dupatta. Attire: Guests are welcome to wear Indian attire if they prefer.
